Digital Marketing & Programmes Officer

An exciting opportunity has just arisen at Quilliam International for an additional Digital Marketing and Programmes Officer. The Quilliam team are looking for a graduate who is keen to start a career in Digital Marketing with an organisation that is at the forefront of countering extremism.

The suitable applicant will already have an interest in the digital world and have a basic understanding of Quilliam and its core mission. The candidate will help us grow our online fundraising efforts as well as being involved in related social media outreach.

Working with our Press Officer and the Executive Team, this is an exciting opportunity to work with an organisation at a key stage in its growth.


We are looking for a creative volunteer that can concept and produce videos and film live events:

  • Able to work with Final Cut Pro/Adobe Premiere, InDesign and Photoshop.
  • Have an understanding of the relationship of video and social media.
  • A great opportunity for someone to build their portfolio and get their work out there.
  • Access to a camera is essential.

We are looking for an intern based in the U.S.:

  • Must have general interest in extremism and international relations/news
  • Must have flexible work hours and be able to commit at least 2-4 hours a day
  • Must have excellent writing skills and must be able to create content (i.e. articles, bulletins, etc.)
  • Maintain multiple social media accounts across several platforms, posting regular updates
  • Respond appropriately and promptly to user comments and feedback
  • Must monitor campaign growth and user interaction through analytics

Prefer to have:

  • Preferably Washington DC-based
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or similar
  • Contextual knowledge of Muslim community in US
