On the 1st of March 2011, Quilliam’s Head of Outreach and Training, Ghaffar Hussain, spoke at a seminar in Copenhagen organised by the Danida Fellowship Institute. The seminar bought together leading academics, journalists, civil servants, politicians and activists in order to discuss extremism and radicalisation. Ghaffar’s talk focused on domestic radicalisation in a western context focusing on structural factors that help prepare the ground for radical recruiters.
