Quilliam Chairman Maajid Nawaz joins the Richmond Forum to debate the question ‘Is Islam a religion of violence or peace’? He is joined by Ayaan Hirsi Ali, a former Muslim who has written and spoken widely about what she considers the violent nature of Islam, and Feisal Abdul Rauf, an American Sufi imam who has been closely involved in plans for the proposed Park51 Islamic community centre in New York, also controversially known as the ‘Ground Zero Mosque’.
