Quilliam are pleased to announce that our Founder, Maajid Nawaz, will be joining the Sky News show ‘The Pledge’ starting this Thursday 12th October 2017 as a regular panellist.

The Pledge is a no-nonsense, straight-talking debate show that features expert commentators and provides them with a platform to express their opinions in an open and frank discussion. The programme is entirely unmoderated, which allows participants to speak freely and passionately about issues that they, and the public, care about.

The Pledge features five highly-opinionated panellists, drawn from a regular pool of contributors. Each panellist champions a subject of their choice during the programme.

The contributors are:
Lord Bilimoria, the founder of Cobra beer; James Caan, Entrepreneur and former Dragons’ Den investor; Michelle Dewberry, former winner of The Apprentice; Greg Dyke, Chairman of the FA and former TV Executive; Nick Ferrari, radio talk show host; Rachel Johnson, novelist and journalist; Graeme Le Saux, former Chelsea and England footballer, June Sarpong, the TV presenter and EU campaigner.

Other panellists on Thursday’s show will include political commentator and broadcaster Carole Malone, along with Greg Dyke, June Sarpong, and Rachel Johnson.

The Pledge will air Thursday nights at 20:00 on Sky News, with repeat telecasts on Friday at 00:00 and Saturday at 15:00.

You can also catch Maajid Nawaz on his LBC radio show live every Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 – 15:00.

Maajid Nawaz will remain Chairman of Quilliam and will continue to campaign against extremism and for the reform of Islam today, informed by his liberal secular values.
