Executive Director Training in Nigeria

Senior Researcher Speaks at the Global Counter-Terrorism Forum (GCTF)

TUNIS – Quilliam International’s Senior Researcher, Dr Salah al-Ansar, spoke at the GCTF regional workshop held in Tunis to discuss initiatives to address the challenges to families of returning foreign fighters. During the workshop, governmental and civil society representatives gave their different perspectives on this topic.

Dr Salah looked at the tools communities can use when dealing with the families of returning fighters. He highlighted the positive key role families and the community play in both in de-radicalising and reintegrating returning foreign fighters back into society.

Senior Researcher Friday Sermon at White City Mosque

LONDON – Quilliam International’s, Dr Salah al-Ansari, performed the Friday Sermon at the White City Mosque on the dangers of leaving hate speech unchallenged. Despite the fact the there was heightened emotions running throughout the discussion, it was a great experience to share ideas and listen to the grievances.
