Senior Researcher speaks at school
NORTHAMPTON – Quilliam International’s Senior Researcher Dr Salah Al-Ansari delivered a presentation at Wellingborough School which was attended by over 65 students and teachers.
Dr Salah spoke about extremism, how individuals are radicalised and what we have to do as a civil society to combat these ideological struggles. The feedback from one of the teachers was “Many individual students have approached me and said how thought provoking they found your talk and how different it was from their normal experience of a school event. Your presentation opened the students’ eyes to an important issue in contemporary society and provoked discussion within the school.”
Quilliam look forward to working with students and teachers at schools to bring about this important discussion of extremism and radicalisition.
