Executive Director Speaks at Assembly

LEICESTER – Quilliam Executive Director UK, Adam Deen spoke to a school assembly attended by over 80 students and teachers. He spoke about extremism, how individuals are radicalised and what we have to do as a civil society to combat these ideological struggles. Adam had a Q&A session after the assembly which resulted in an engaged and interactive audience.

The feedback was great from the teachers and students, one student expressed in the future she would be ‘inspired to work in the field of preventing extremism.’ We at Quilliam are thankful for such enthusiasm and support, and are happy to partake in further training for students, teachers and other practitioners seeking to combat extremist ideologies.
