Quilliam President’s Interview on Al Arabiya

Quilliam International’s President, Noman Benotman on Al Hadath news channel discussing the extrajudicial executions in Benghazi, which involved an officer of the Libyan National Army (LNA). Noman deemed these acts as criminal offences stating the people performing such atrocities are no different to ISIS.

Noman expressed support for the investigations and the efforts of the International Criminal Court (ICC), in putting an end to these heinous crimes.

Head of Islamic Studies Takes Part in a Debate at UCL

LONDON – Quilliam International’s Dr Usama Hasan, took part in the UCL Debating Society’s debate, “This House Believes That Islam Has Failed Women.” Usama spoke against the motion, defending Islam whilst criticising Islamist extremism and emphasised the process of reform throughout the history of Islam, including the current struggle for Muslim women’s rights, and cautioned against anti-Muslim hatred.
