Quilliam to Present Burma Report at House of Commons
Quilliam is excited to announce that we will be launching our report “The Rise of Religious Nationalism, Intolerance, and Persecution in Burma” at the House of Commons on the 25th of April.
The report has been produced by Quilliam International in association with Christian Solidarity Worldwide, a human rights organisation which focuses on defending the right to freedom of religion or belief. With this joint report, we hope to shed light on the critical human rights violations in Burma, an issue that we believe has been underserved in the global political sphere.
We are pleased to announce an excellent line-up of speakers for the event, including Kyaw Win (Burma Human Rights Network), Laura Haigh (Amnesty International), Ben Rogers (Christian Solidarity Worldwide), Muna Adil (Quilliam International) and MP Paul Scully (APPG on Burma).
