Quilliam’s North America Launch in New York
NEW YORK – Quilliam International launched officially in North America in New York’s 3LD Art & Technology Center.
At this US launch event, and while surrounded by Quilliam’s American Muslim supporters, including Imams and Muslim activists, Founder Maajid Nawaz revealed previously undisclosed information about his SPLC campaign, and how it relates to Quilliam’s US launch.
There was also a 20 minute preview of Quilliam’s debut production ‘Deadly Dialogues’ and an opening address from Maajid Nawaz. CEO Haras Rafiq and Executive Director (North America) Muhammad Fraser-Rahim also outlined their vision for Quilliam U.S.

Quilliam Press Release – Terror Incident on London Underground
Though few details have emerged so far, it is now confirmed that a terror attack took place at Parsons Green underground station in west London. There was an explosion on the tube carriage caused by an improvised explosive device (IED), but the device had only partially detonated and was meant to cause a much bigger explosion. 18 people have been taken to a number of London hospitals with injuries.READ MORE

He spoke about extremism, how individuals are radicalised and what we have to do as a civil society to combat these ideological struggles.
