Executive Director Presents at Security Forum
PRAGUE – Quilliam International’s Adam Deen presented a lecture on extremism at the HOMEAFFAIRS Internal Security Forum in Prague, Czech Republic.
Adam spoke at the briefing entitled ‘Islamic Extremism in the West – Islamism, Jihadism, and Islamic Fundamentalism’, where he spoke on extremism, radicalisation and the work Quilliam have been doing to counter the narrative.

Executive Director Presents in Trinidad
TRINIDAD – Quilliam International’s Executive Director, North America, Muhammad Fraser travelled to Trinidad and Tobago on behalf of the US Embassy and met with government officials including the Attorney General, religious and civil society actors.
The discussion included how to make communities resilient against extremism and practical skills-based training on rehabilitation, prevention approaches on individuals who have become radicalised.

Senior Researcher Speaks on Panel at UN Film Festival
LONDON – Quilliam International’s Senior Researcher Dr Salah Al-Ansari was part of a panel discussion at The People’s Film Festival and the United Nations AW, where they presented Award-Winning Films: Sonic Sea & Converts.
Dr Salah commented on the film ‘Convert’ and whether or not it is linked to Islamist extremism and spoke about various extremist groups and their ideology and how we can counter-extremism by changing the narrative.
The organiser of the festival provided this feedback regarding Dr Salah’s contribution “I had many comments about how interesting the topic was. You made some really interesting points and were very engaging on the panel, it really added to the evening and was nice you had such a strong connection to the topic.”
