Usama Hasan gave a presentation on “Universal Objectives of Islamic Law (Maqasid al-Sharia) as a Framework for Human Rights” at the annual conference of the Muslim Educational and Cultural Organisation, Oxford – the theme of the conference being “Islam and Human Rights – the European Paradigm.”
