Usama Hasan was a panellist alongside Andrew Copson (British Humanist Association) and Ruth Gledhill (Religion Correspondent, The Times), chaired by Adam Taub of the London School for Jewish Studies, at a sixth-form conference on Religion and Modernity, attended by about 70 pupils from the following schools: City of London School for Girls, City of London School for Boys, London Oratory, Jewish Free School and Marylebone School. The conference addressed the following four areas with regard to religion: science, state, women’s rights and education.
